Freight train derails in Southern California

Drone footage showed BNSF Railway freight train cars piled up across the tracks after a derailment near Ludlow in the Southern California Desert on Wednesday (March 3). An estimated 25-35 railcars derailed, some carrying hazardous materials that were mitigated. There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
