Hiking alone 180 km by West Coast of Mallorca - PART 5

Torrent de Pareis - The Devil’s pit. A big mistake. I didn’t make a good research and went into this canyon unprepared, with heavy backpack, a week after long rain. This place is no joke when the rocks are slippery - and on some places they were. I slipped and fell several times. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to record the difficult parts, so if you plan to go there, be prepared for much worse than you can see in this video. After getting through this hard but absolutely magnificent place (which took me twice as much time as it was supposed), I came to a lovely forgotten monastery, Puig de Maria, with a gorgeous camping spot above Pollenca. I slept here last time I was in Mallorca, so I came back for the memories... and couldn’t sleep the whole night because of swarms of mosquitos...
