This fascinating newsreel of a jiu-jitsu demonstration from 1912 features Takisaburo Tobari & Taro Miyake, who were contemporaries of Mitsuyo Maeda. It gives us some idea of the kind of techniques and practise drills that might have been taught to Carlos Gracie in Brazil during the 1920s.
