or: “the entire history of renchanting during 3rd life, arranged to the melody of the oh hellos music“. almost 7 minutes of art, how i intend for it to be viewed. the choice to end PWH on the buildup to the triple kill was made knowing that WIYR opens on the explosion itself. similarly, as i was working on PWH, i knew i had to weave in the themes and motifs from WIYR - for example, the bonds between ren, martyn, and the future red army. even though they were drawn a year apart, and using two different programs and devices (WIYR was drawn on my laptop w/ my tablet; PWH was drawn on my phone), I wanted them to still feel like they were the same story, like they were meant to be together. using the same color palette helps a lot in that regard, i think. actually wait i didnt actually use the original color palette when i built the palette for PWH and i just color picked from WIYR i think i may have accidentally invented a shade of gray that wasnt actually in the original NotLikeThis what the fuck i hate it here!!!!!! anyway. i don’t REALLY expect this upload to get a lot of views or anything (i imagine PWH will, like WIYR before it, do as well as it will on YT on its own) but i wanted to have it put together in the way that I want to view it, no ad break in the middle, just 7 minutes of art. i WOULD have premiered this version if i didnt think people would probably have left halfway through because theyve already seen WIYR. well actually wait now that i think about it you ppl are insane enough that i actually do think you would want to see a premiere of this . so i’ll just set that up for like. immediately after PWH drops or smth. (edit. i just premiered this video instead. never done this before) ANYWAYS.
