THE WIND & THE LION (1975): Marines marching through Tangier (Almería)

After landing on the port, Capt. Jerome’s company of Marines, supported by a detachment of sailors, march through the streets of Tangier to the Bashaw’s palace. In fact these scenes were taken in the harbour, Parque Nicolás Salmerón & old town of Almería. Director John Millius would choose Almería´s lanscapes later again for his fabulous masterpiece, Conan the Barbarian.
