David Coverdale - Hole In The Sky

Hole In The Sky, from David Coverdale’s first solo album, “White Snake“. This album was recorded in 1976, just after the collapse of Deep Purple, so you can feel some of David’s hurt feelings with the end of the band which gave him superstardom. This album was the first collaboration between David Coverdale and Micky Moody, who played all the guitars. This is the very embryo of what, two years later, would become Whitesnake. The album was produced by (at the time) former Deep Purple bass player Roger Glover, and features the amazing Simon Phillips on drums (he was 18 years old at the time).
