***NOT FOR BROADCAST*** Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. brett@ Louisville, KY - Severe weather swept across the Louisville Metro Wednesday night causing at least one EF-1 tornado to touchdown in an industrial area and killing one person. Heavy wind and possibly another tornado caused extensive damage at an apartment complex on the southside of the city. 50 people were displaced as the storm ripped the roof off the top of one building and sent it flying into another. Several cars were damaged and even the maintenance workers from the complex helped rescue trapped residents before first responders arrived.
