I was on track to do a drum cover of Danny Carey’s polyrhythmic drumming before my summer semester class started up this week. A dear friend of mine, however, challenged me to do this DT piece before I turned my attention towards Danny. John Petrucci’s comments, at the beginning of the video, also made the challenge hard for me to refuse. I will admit this too: the odd time signatures were a real b**** when I first started practicing it. :)
