Full title reads: “Soldiers of Irish Free State receive first uniforms which, paradoxically enough, are almost identical with ’Tommy’s“. Dublin, Eire (Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland). Interior. L/S of workshop full of women sewing. M/S of row of women sitting at sewing machines making uniforms. M/S of row of men hand stitching uniforms. M/S of a man in one of the army jackets, one of the men - a tailor - makes final adjustments to it. M/S of another tailor fitting an army overcoat to a man. More people work in background; girls at machines, men pressing uniforms with irons. Extreme C/U of brass button with Irish harp engraved on it.
