GOALKEEPER TRAINING IDEAS | Two High Ball Catches Crossing Sessions | FIRST CLASS DRILLS

Hi thanks for taking a look at what First Class Goalkeeping has to offer. Session ideas are posted weekly on my social media accounts so please check out and follow my Facebook and Instagram if they are of interest. This video shows two 1 minute videos of: 1st A session that looks at the goalkeepers ability to make decisions early. Near post attack situation with a volley straight at you, the diving intercept and then the chip/cross needing a catch or help guiding over the bar. 2nd Can be easily adapted to involve crosses rather than a thrown service but for accuracy the throws work fine. Decision making on positioning, attacking the ball at it’s highest point and whether to catch or punch. The drill then plays out for a roll out to start your attack before a pass back looks for decision to quickly find your defender. Thanks for watching and please help by Liking if you enjoyed the video and find the videos useful, Share if you know if people that may have use for the session ideas and comment if you want to see something different or have a thought you would like to share.
