Apollo 12 TV broadcast from “apollo_16_uvc_s201_as16-123“ at Apollo 12 returned to Earth on November 24, 1969 at 20:58 UTC (3:58 pm EST, 10:58 am HST), splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 500 nautical miles (800 km) east of American Samoa. After recovery by USS Hornet, they were flown to Pago Pago International Airport in Tafuna for a reception, before being flown on a C-141 cargo plane to Honolulu.
