The 12-hour strike began at noon local time on Wednesday, with tens of thousands of workers demonstrating in the capital and other cities across the country. The CGT coordinated the strike, in response to Milei’s two major reforms, a “mega-decree”, aimed at reducing the power of unions and deregulating Argenina’s economy and an “omnibus” bill that proposes extensive reforms for political, fiscal, social, and administrative policy. Mass strikes limited the operation of banks, public services, transport, hospitals, and businesses throughout the day. Aerolíneas Argentinas reportedly canceled 267 flights as aeronautical unions joined the strike, affecting more than 17,000 travelers. #Argentina #Javier_Milei #General_Confederation_of_Labor #labor_union #Buenos_Aires #economic_reforms #labor_reforms #CGT #아르헨티나 #노조총파업 #Arirang_News #아리랑뉴스 📣 Facebook : 📣 Twitter : 📣 Homepage : 2024-01-25, 09:00 (KST)
