Jacques Desbois followed his deep fascination with the cold and icy environment around him - and in 2001, he fulfilled one of his dreams and built “Hotel De Glace.” This impressive ice structure is built each year by about 150 volunteers and it has 36 guest rooms, a grand hall, a bar for 400 people - and even an Ice Chapel that provides for at least 30 weddings per season.
