Get Up To Get Down: Parkin Costain in Cooke City

With a 5 a.m. start to the day, Parkin and his crew got after it early to explore this largely untapped backcountry zone in Cooke City, Montana. “Definitely a bit of an adventure,” says Parkin of the mission. After getting cliffed out, the crew found a workaround and made it to the saddle where they were rewarded with a playful pillow zone loaded with fresh snow.
