Cops Find Crystal Meth in Florida Surgeon’s Backpack Before Operation on Patient

Body camera footage shows a Florida plastic surgeon getting arrested after St. Petersburg police found crystal meth in his backpack. Officers originally pulled Dr. William Wright Adams over in May 2022 during an investigation regarding a burglary — so when they searched his car — they were surprised to find the drugs and hear about where he was headed. “I’m supposed to be operating right now,” Dr. Adams told police. “They’re putting someone to sleep right now for me to operate on,“ he explained. Dr. Adams was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
