Testing with Crocs on an escalator

October 2010: The father of a 4-year-old girl whose Crocs-clad foot was mangled on an escalator in Johnson City last year settled this week his multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the shoe maker. But New York attorney Andrew Laskin said Thursday that the nationwide battle over the company’s alleged foot-dragging in responding to a slew of escalator injuries is still raging, and that thousands of children whose parents are unaware of the danger remain at risk.
