A short documentary about Anna Akhmatova and her life in the Fountain House Fountain House, former palace of several generations of Sheremetev counts, became Akhmatova’s home for many years. It repeatedly appeared in her poetry and served as a background in the “Poem without a hero“. The film is dedicated not only to Akhmatova, but to many of contemporaries, people of her circle: poets, artists, scientists, who were one way or another connected to the Fountain House.
