The Cocoh - Beading Tutorial - Beginner Friendly - DIYbeadedjewelry - Beaded Earrings - How to Bead

Make yourself some Cocohs today - then turn them into earrings! All you need are beads and thread - and earring wires if you wish. Cocohs are sleek, elegant structures that are easy to learn. Plus, Cocoh Earrings make excellent gifts! Beginners are especially welcome to watch this Cocoh Bead video tutorial. Valerie demonstrates every step - while providing tips and suggestions. Once you catch on to the pattern for each row, the rest is super-easy. There are 9 rows in all. The earrings shown in the thumbnail are made of 2mm oxidized sterling silver beads - but any fairly spherical metal or glass beads will work - such as Czech drums in 3 or 4mm size and Czech Fire Polish beads in 3 or 4 mm. Spherical wood and plastic beads will make beautiful Cocohs too. Some Japanese seed beads will work - but they need to be plump in shape - more like voluptuous donuts than like jump rings. The Cocoh structure was inspired by a small, Chinese beaded vase - as shown in the first video here
