Two projects by Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer “Interruptions | Weather Diaries“. Cooper & Gorfer Сара Купер и Нина Горфер работают под брендом Cooper & Gorfer в Гётеборге (Швеция) и Берлине (Германия) с 2006 года. Основное внимание в их работах приковано к положению женщины в обособленной культуре коренных народов Северной Европы. Художницы путешествуют по удаленным и труднодоступным местам, исследуют культуру и быт их обитателей, собирают истории и создают уникальные портреты, используя сложную технику фотоколлажа. На выставке будут представлены два проекта дуэта Cooper & Gorfer. Парадный корпус, 2-й этаж 17 октября 2018 Cooper & Gorfer Interruptions | Weather Diaries State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO and the Consulate General of Sweden in Saint Petersburg present an exhibition of works by Cooper & Gorfer artist duo. The exhibition is part of the Nordic Weeks festival. Based in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Berlin (Germany), artists Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer have worked together since 2006. The main focus of their work is the role of women in isolated societies of indigenous people of northern Europe. The artists travel across remote and hardly accessible places to study the culture and everyday life of the inhabitants thereof, gathering stories and creating original photographic portraits in a complicated photo collage technique.
