Final Metroid Prime Animation

This is the final animation of my Metroid Prime recreation. The idea was to create a game style environment, and animate a camera through it to mimic the game. A total of 22 hours to render, and a total frame count of 6780. Yes, thats right! 6780 frames. The ratio is more of a 4:3 style (again, mimicking the game). Widescreen would have taken a lot more work. Unfortunately, I didnt add the left hand, or right arm (with cannon). I would have had to build a rig for the gun to fire, and then interact with the cannon blasts. The model of Samus in her varia suit was ripped from the game. I had to rig it, and then animate it. Everything else was modeled, textured, lit, baked, animated, and rendered by me, on my 8-core BOXX workstation using Cinema 4D. The different areas of the space station uses different lighting methods. The first part is done with standard lighting. The other areas are lit using GI that was baked.
