Nick Robertson and Slice -- Pride and Joy

For some reason Nick Robertson did very well at not selling records. Even today you can pick up his excellent ’Bullet Proof Boy’ album for next to nothing through Amazon. It’s definitely worth it, especially if you’re a fan of Irish singer songwriters in the same vein as Van Morrison. The lovely ’Pride and Joy’ features Maria McKee on backing vocals and is a typically well-written heartfelt Nick Robertson tune. My advice? Get on Amazon now and make that purchase!
