BRAZIL Favela Heroes

In this documentary film, we bring you an alternative perspective of Brazil and how the locals created their own legacy despite living in what many consider a harsh environment. We teamed up with a well respected native of the favelas of Brazil, bboy Alemao of the popular Brazilian bboy channel, PowerTubeMoves. We shot 8 episodes in Brasil, that will be released in the next weeks. Not to often will filmmakers be allowed into the favelas (slums) of Brazil. Fortuntely, with friends that are locals, and well respected filmmakers from the Favela like Toddy Ivon, we were able to capture captivating images in high resolution. It’s also Olympic year and all eyes are on Brazil. Many think it will be a crazy olympic year, as the streets are filled with thieves and robberies will be a concern with tourists.
