Otherwise, it should be the same. Still, it´s recommended to use Microbit V2. It´s just much more fun with all the extra sensors :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PCBWay is a service for manufacturing custom PCBs. If you click the link above, you will get a coupon for $5, which is exactly the price of 10 pieces of custom PCBs. In that case, you will only pay for shipping. Do you have any experience doing this? Please let me know in the comment section! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please follow me in this video to see how I have created a simple project using a Microbit board together with the 16x2 character display connected using an I2C connection and displaying data from the onboard sensors - temperature, sound level, and light level. The value is displayed together with a custom character and a simple animated gauge (also using custom characters). No programing involved; just drag logic blocks together. Perfect tutorial for beginners. Do you have any questions? Suggestions for the next video? Please put those down in the comment section. I try to answer as many questions as I can. Thank you for watching, reading the video description and I hope to see you next time. Good luck with your projects! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #character_display #microbit #1602 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- keywords related to this video: beginner, tutorial, DIY, character display, 1602, I2C, IIC, microbit, microcontroller, gauge, light sensor, temperature sensor, sound level sensor, Microsoft makecode, makecode, visual programming, programming for beginners, project, serial data, UART, PCBway, 5V logic, logic, microbit expansion board, backpack, custom character, smooth gauge, 16x2, STEM, education --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
