50% of country’s population signed up for Telecom Niue’s LTE service – here’s how
As part of a broader plan to transform telecommunications on the island nation of Niue, Telecom Niue decide to launch 4G LTE services. Its legacy system could not support the new offerings, so it recruited network expert Blue Arcus to deploy Alepo’s modern and flexible Digital Business Support Systems (BSS).
Alepo deployed its convergent billing platform and seamlessly migrated all existing services with zero downtime, completing the deployment in only two months. The platform lets Telecom Niue easily create and launch new offerings in minutes.
The network transformation helped Telecom Niue provide superior customer experience with high-speed 4G services, competitive pricing, advanced data services like Voice over LTE (VoLTE), and digital self-care.
More than 50% of the island’s population signed up for the new service within eight months of launch. Implementing a unified platform helped save 20% OPEX in two months. Network coverage increased by 100% in only three months.
