New Live Steam Mill Engine with Flyball Governor. SOLD Sometimes referred to as a Box Bed Engine. This is my fourth fully machined and assembled mill steam engine from castings. Including cross slide, flywheel, eccentric, piston and rings, and all moving parts for the engine. The bore is inches with a inch stroke. The overall length of the engine is 36“ the width 18“ and the height 23 inches. One of the features of this engine is a flyball governor. The flywheel is 15“ dia. The complete engine weighs 150 lbs. I estimate the hp at 3 to 4 depending on boiler pressure. The oiler and valves are included. It runs at 375 rpm wide open. Using the pulley you can step the rpm up to run a sawmill, dynamo or a alternator. Shipping by Fastenal freight has saved about half the cost of normal LTL freight haulers.
