Storm Alberto caused severe flooding in Monterrey Tropical storm Alberto made landfall on Thursday morning, June 20, 2024, near Ciudad Madero, south of Tamaulipas and moved inland toward San Luis Potosí. Alberto also brought rain and flooding to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and most of Tamaulipas.
