Oxygen Tests (1957)

Morden, London. M/S of a bald man in a laboratory. Large glass jar is in front of him. Man takes liquid oxygen and pours it into the jar. C/U shot of the liquid oxygen being poured into the jar. Lots of smoke around. Scientist, Doctor Din, takes thermometer and measures the temperature of the oxygen in the jar. High angle shot of doctor Din taking another glass jar with some liquid already in. He pours liquid oxygen into the jar and great smoke cover appears. C/U shot of the chemical reaction in the jar; white liquid is bubbling in colourless liquid. M/S of doctor Din taking a model of an engine which is supposed to be run by liquid oxygen. M/S of doctor Din pouring oxygen into engine. C/U shot of the engine running (wheels start turning very fast). Voiceover explains that liquid oxygen has very low temperature ( -300 degrees) and has to be kept in vacuum flask. High angle C/U shot of a glass ball with a metal container in.
