Toccata - Joaquin Rodrigo (Adam Cicchillitti, guitar)

Adam Cicchillitti plays Toccata (1933) by Joaquin Rodrigo. Rodrigo’s Toccata was discovered in the archives of guitarist Regino Sainz de la Maza over 80 years after it was written. The piece is more popularly known as the first movement of the Concierto de Estio for solo violin. Recorded in Toronto in May 2019 at the church of St. Mary Magdalene. Audio/Video by Drew Henderson.
