The Warriors - Synopsis

“The Warriors“ is a 1979 American action thriller film directed by Walter Hill. Set in a dystopian version of New York City, the movie follows the adventures of a street gang known as “The Warriors“ as they navigate their way back to their home turf in Coney Island after being falsely accused of murder. The story takes place in a future where New York City is divided into various gang territories. The Warriors, led by Cleon, are one of the most respected and formidable gangs in the city. At a massive gathering in the Bronx, all the gangs are called upon by Cyrus, the charismatic leader of the Gramercy Riffs, who proposes a truce and alliance among the gangs to take control of the entire city. However, chaos erupts when Luther, a member of a rival gang called the Rogues, shoots Cyrus, blaming The Warriors for the crime.
