Keepin the peace ｜ DUTCHBATT in Lebanon (UNIFIL 82)

It’s been a while again. Gotta say i’m down to making videos when I feel like it. Can’t make it out of the hood with these video’s so Pinqu got some sidehussels too yaknow This video features images of DUTCHBATT in Lebanon during the 80s as part of a UN deployment there. The lyrics of the song, ’but know he finds he is at war ... weren’t we supposed to keep the peace?’ really fits with the situation of the Dutch men there at that time in my opnion. Especially the Invasion of Isreal in 1982 would show that DUTCHBATT could hardly fulfill it’s peacekeeping task.
