Vet Gives Parrot A New Wings After He Experienced Severe Wing Trimming. MEET - WEI 2x

MEET Our Feathery Friend, Wei Wei.  Wei Wei had been the victim of wing trimming to prevent it from flying.  Dr. Catherine Apuli, a vet working with The Unusual Pet Vets in Brisbane, Australia, explained that her wings were cut too short and too many feathers were cut.  And Dr. Apuli gave a parrot the ability to soar AGAIN. All it took was some ingenuity and creativity which involved some donated feathers, glue, and toothpicks, to create prosthetic wings for the parrot. Share this story with your family
