A video about a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Kasper who saved his comrades by shielding them from an enemy attack drone
A serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces of the 1430th Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorised Rifle Division, Pavel Yankov with the call sign Kasper, carrying out tasks to repel unsuccessful attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Orekhovsk direction in the area of the village of Rabotino, saved his comrades from the attack of an enemy drone by covering them. Including Pavel himself, all the servicemen survived, receiving only shrapnel wounds.
Currently, the servicemen are being treated in the hospital, but after full recovery they are ready to return to the ranks of the unit and continue to beat the enemy with renewed vigor.
While in position and caught in the crosshairs of an enemy strike drone, Pavel, without hesitation, took the attacker’s vest from his body armour, stretched out his arms and mechanically directed the protection towards the flying drone, closing as much as possible the gap in the trench where his comrades were located.
The battles to hold positions by units of the Russian group of forces during the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Orekhovsk direction are being conducted under constant massive fire pressure, including the use of high-precision projectiles and cluster munitions. The enemy is trying to attack with superior forces using Western weapons, but Russian military personnel, acting courageously, skillfully and coordinatedly, burn the equipment of the Ukrainian militants, throwing them back to their starting lines with significant losses of personnel and combat vehicles.
