Led Zeppelin - Live in Memphis, TN (April 17th, 1970) - UPGRADE/BEST SOUND

As requested by Appetite4Illusions, here is an upgrade of the band’s show in Memphis towards the end of their Spring 1970 North American tour. This show is widely considered to be the best of the tour, with all four members of the band turning in an outstanding performance, including the longest and (in my opinion) best How Many More Times ever. The show is beset with crowd problems and is infamous for a backstage incident where the promoter reportedly tried to force Peter Grant to get the band off the stage in response to the unruly crowd. When Grant refused, a gun was pulled on him! This makes the band’s fantastic performance all the more remarkable. The tape itself is fairly decent, albeit hissy and somewhat muffled with quite a few cuts during and in between songs. Special thanks to Mysterii for the thumbnail! 0:00 Taper Comments 0:32 Intro 1:33 We’re Gonna Groove (cut) 5:23 Dazed and Confused (cut) 22:23 Heartbreaker 29:03 Bring It On Home (cut) 38:23 White Summer/Black Mountain Side (cut) 51:38 Since I’ve Been Loving You (cut) 58:31 Organ Solo (cut) 1:03:18 Thank You 1:10:21 What Is and What Should Never Be (cut) 1:15:01 Moby Dick 1:34:59 How Many More Times (cut) 2:08:49 Whole Lotta Love Bootleg: 2nd gen - CDR (cleanup)
