MLP G5 Animatic Confrontation

After watching the new G5 make your mark episodes I created a scenario in my head what might happen if mane 5 made it into Opaline’s castle and confronted her. I decided on a small animatic, something I haven’t done since my first time doing one of these as a University project back in 2017. I’m always interested in the creative processes behind animated shows I like and took some direction on official existing ones I could find on Youtube for G5. The animatic was all done in Photoshop, mainly because I wanted to keep my brushes and drawing fidelity and didn’t want to learn a new program for it. Although in the end something like storyboard pro would’ve been the better option as Photoshop is very very limited in what it can provide for animation. I used the video timeline option rather than its weird frame animation timeline.
