The suite is taken from the première livre of Mouton’s 1699 collection, Pièces de luth sur differents modes: Prélude Tombeau de Madame, Pavanne La Libertin, Canarie La belle Florantine, Sarabande La belle Espagnolle, Chaconne La belle Danceuse, Gavottes ---------- The 11-course lute was built by Lars Jonsson in 2005, after Hans Frei.
