NATO | AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopters and US Force Arrived in Latvia. Paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade left their base in Vicenza, Italy, and arrived in Latvia by disembarking from transport planes at Riga International Airport. Their arrival is part of a larger deployment of US troops to Europe in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
