Descanse en paz el maestro Flores Méndez. Guillermo Flores Méndez (1920-2019) was a mexican composer, guitarist, professor and articulist. At the National Conservatory of Music (CNM) he studied guitar, solfege and music theory, as well as composition and musical analysis. Manuel M. Ponce was his tutor in music pedagogy and analysis. Flores Méndez was a recognized guitar professor of most important music schools in México. He passed away today (11/06/2019).
