Caught By The Camera No. 58 (1935)

Titles read: “Caught by the Camera“. Various locations of events. Several shots of a man putting a muslin cover over his head, pouring poison into the ground. We hear that he is a wasp destroyer, and has been hired by a nearby chocolate factory to get rid of a wasps’ nest. The man rolls over in the grass around the nest - I’m not sure why - to squash escaping wasps? Or to coat himself in wasp poison? He then beats any remaining wasps with a sack and digs up the nest. On a table we see him taking the nest apart, as lots of dead wasps fall out - yuk! (Location of events unknown.) In Seattle, United States of America, we see a very 1930s streamlined ferry that takes people and their cars across the river. Passengers wander around the decks and sit in chairs. In New York, United States of America, the explorer ship ’Morrissey’ arrives back home from the Arctic. The crew cheers as they look out at the city.
