It is known that Tommy Quickly is from Liverpool, where he was born in 1945. He began his career in the early sixties. In 1963 a young singer became interested in Brian Epstein, a manager, under whose strict guidance such performers as The Beatles, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Billy Kramer & The Dakotas and some others already existed. Tommy Quickly was lucky to be familiar with them. Before exploring Epstein, who gave Tommy a great chance to gain popularity, he sang with the band The Challengers, who soon changed its name to Tommy Quickly & The Stops.
