Hryhoriev was born in Ukraine, in the Donetsk region. But when the Russian occupation came, he got mobilized to the war against Ukraine. According to his words, he escaped the front line three times but was then brought back. This time he has escaped the Russian army for sure: he surrendered to the Ukrainian defenders. In the video, Hryhoriev tells about horrible methods used in the occupation army, including death squads that stay behind the lines and kill any deserters. Lack of supplies and inhumane attitude almost made the man break mentally, and he surrendered to the Ukrainian army when possible.
