Active Loop Antenna for software defined radio

An active loop antenna can be used along with your SDR (software defined radio) to monitor radio spectrum. It can be mounted indoors or outdoors for shortwave radio listening, or even as a spy radio antenna for covertly monitoring radio spectrum. This one is called the RXL from Chameleon Antenna.
