Day 5 to 15 Green Tree Frog tadpoles - PART 3 in super macro

Day 5 to 15 of Green Tree Frog (Litoria Caerulea) tadpole’s development. I’m using my Olympus Tough, super macro function to get shots of tadpoles. Some are almost 1cm long by day 15. I’ve relocated some tadpoles to another nearby, rainwater filled, outdoor tank as overcrowding was becoming a problem. I’m feeding the tadpoles on algae balls I’ve been growing. I’m also feeding them boiled then frozen outer leaves of iceberg lettuce. My local supermarket is happy to supply their waste lettuce. The tadpoles strip the lettuce pretty fast and they seem to prefer it over the algae. The boiling and freezing of the outer lettuce leaves breaks down the leaves making them easier for the tadpoles to eat. Tadpoles are all doing well!!
