1999s Most Controversial DVD Player

Hi guys, and welcome back to yasminecollects! Today we are talking about the JVC XV-D701 DVD player from 1999. Although I adore VHS and analog mediums, I had a great time researching DVD as a format. From DVD menus to highlighting some of the special features this player includes, I love this piece of retro tech. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these more niche releases, weird formats like DSD and if you were around when DVD was still figuring itself out. Also, I loved sharing a bit of my CD/DVD collection.
