Shab-e-Arus, was the night that Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi passed away to be united with his Beloved: the Creator. ’Sema’, the ’whirling’ or ’turning’, is the gateway through which the mevlevi dervishes transcend all boundaries into a greater connection with the universe.
