Operation Al Aqsa Flood: Hamas launches major offensive against Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his country is ’at war’. That’s after the Palestinian armed group Hamas launched an unprecedented land and air operation against Israel. Israeli media say at least 40 Isaelis have been killed. The Israeli government mobilised reservists in response. The military is now bombarding Gaza, where more than 2 million Palestinians live under Israeli blockade. Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Vall reports.
