Vincent Kane sits down with the GREAT Welsh actor Richard Burton in a pub in Burton’s hometown of Pontrhydyfen. Burton passed away just 7 years later of a cerebral hemorrhage on August 5th 1984 in Celigny, Switzerland. As Melvyn Bragg wrote in his book ’Richard Burton, A Life’ “He was a man of many lives, but not that of an old was 58“.
