He makes several announcements about: floods in North West of US, President Gronchi of Italy’s visits to USA and that he will make a further announcement about his own personal future later that evening (there is debate as to whether he will continue as leader for another term after his recent heart attack). He then takes questions from the press; they all ask him about his future and the future of his vice-president Richard Nixon - Ike gives no clear answers! Date on dope sheet is 01/03/1956.
