Saving Nora - Episode 7

The scene opens with Nora finding her daughter, Cherry, playing games in the living room instead of cleaning up. Nora suggests they go out for dinner, but Cherry insists on wearing a boy’s suit. Despite Nora’s efforts to engage with Cherry, she remains focused on her game until Nora switches off her phone. Meanwhile, in another room, Pete, Cherry’s online gaming buddy, reluctantly leaves his game to join his family for dinner. Pete’s uncle, Chester, tries to dissuade him from going out to eat, knowing it will anger Pete’s strict grandfather, Justin. Despite the warning, Pete insists on going out and even wears a Gucci suit. At the restaurant, Nora mistakes Pete for Cherry and treats him affectionately, leading Pete to wonder if Nora is his long-lost mother. Despite his inner turmoil, Pete goes along with it, unable to express his feelings. As they sit down to eat, Cherry is abruptly lifted away by Justin, who reveals himself as her father, causing a scene in the restaurant.
