Mirko Hirsch - MEMORY - Instrumental JAN HAMMER Miami Vice Crockett’s Theme Variation 80s SYNTHWAVE

This is a tribute to the music that inspired me to produce my own songs. Let me take you back to the time from 1986 to 1988 when synth magicians such as Jan Hammer and his soundtrack to Miami Vice had a major impact on the soundtrack of my life. But also the musicians, writers, producers and singers at STUDIOs in Hannover, Germany who are responsible for some of the finest but lost instrumental and vocal pop and rock songs, used by the legendary VTO Pictures production company. MEMORY is based on the leitmotiv of an instrumental song for the 1987 adult movie PORSCHE. I took the main idea and created several new parts trying to recreate some of Jan Hammer’s sound from the track, using the DX7. Enjoy the music and take a trip down MEMORY lane! PS: This is NOT me driving the car. Just some random guy. ;) Video footage used under creative commons license from Pexels and Pixabay All rights belong to their respective owners.
