Maple Glazed Roasted Brussel Sprouts (Thanksgiving Side Dishes) | The Frugal Chef

I got this recipe for maple glazed roasted Brussels sprouts from the last Bon Apetit magazine and was curious to see how it would come out. I tweaked it a little bit. Follow me : Twitter : Facebook : Instagram : Maple Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe - 1 pound Brussels sprouts -- trimmed and halved 1/4th cup pure maple syrup 1 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon heavy cream Sesame seeds Oil Salt & Pepper Heat your oven to 400F (200C). Place the sprouts in a roasting pan or a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with oil and season with salt and pepper. Make sure to coat them well. Place the pan in the oven and roast for 20 to 25 minutes -- until they are soft and the outside has browned. While the sprouts are roasting, place the maple syrup in a pan and bring it to a boil on low heat. Let it boil for a couple of minutes until it starts to thicken. Add the butter, soy sauce and cream and mix well. Be careful with splatters. Remove the cooked sprouts from the oven and drizzle the caramel on them. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
